  1. Hello David, Mike here –
    I create various generated textures adding a bumpmap effect with CrazyBump, and capture the rendered results to display in my gallery on
    While I’m not a novice at coding, most of my experience is old hat – and I would love to be able to display my tiling textures as active content, possibly using yours or a similar method through shockwave flash.
    I currently have DevaintartFilm permissions, so I’d be able to post my art as a flash movie – and hope to use it in the near future for a flash eComic Series! ☺

  2. Hi Mike,

    Personally, I wouldn’t bother with Flash; it’s outdated technology and frankly its GPU APIs are half-baked. I’d look into WebGL instead, either directly or through the use of an engine like Three.js or AwayJS. Or if you want something more playful, check out Shadertoy ( I don’t know how that plays with DeviantArt, tho :)
